I have no pics of the food to post because I ate it all. This place is superb- the best vegan or vegan friendly Thai place in America or Thailand. The pad thai, khao suea, dumpling curry appetizer, papaya salad is all fantastic. The thai ice tea is as well. Dining room is small and casual and there are tables outside. Park in the back- the driveway is after the gas station. Staff is also wonderful. Chill out and enjoy!

I placed an order for pickup and didn't know what to expect. The place has a very good vibe inside and around it full of plants and life. When I got home and tried the pad see ew with a side of shrimp and veggie fried rice, I fell in love and couldn't wait to come back. The high protein salad made me fall in love even more and I felt satisfied while not feeling the heaviness of eating Thai food. Service was great as well and I'll be returning with family and friends soon!

The chef here has gifted tastebuds. We came for some late night bites. After eating here, we realized this ought to have been our main course. As non vegetarians our bias led us astray from the clear winner, Veggie House! The chickn satay was so good. Frankly the images do not allow this to appear a 1/8 as good as it tastes. The fresh rolls, full of an assortment of veggies, not just 2-3 like some spots, were also delicious. They were massive as well. The menu says 2 fresh rolls, but consider it 4 standard fresh rolls. Two sauces were provided to choose from, generous enough you will not run out of either, if selecting only one. The first was a standard yummy peanut sauce. The second was a remarkable clear sauce made up of cilantro, basil and some [insert amazing combo I could not dream up1]. I wanted to take this sauce home, purchase it regularly, indefinitely. Wow. Highly recommend this spot to any and all enjoy Thai. You will not find disappointments nor mediocrity here!

Veggie House is the best vegan thai in the area! I've been coming here for 5 years and they are consistently delicious. Great prices, portions and soo tasty. The wontons, orange chicken and the chow mein are my go-tos but I've tried most everything on the menu and I've never been disappointed.

I love Veggie House, it's one of my constant go-to's and the location is unbeatable for a quick to-go order of delicious vegan Thai. Our favorite dishes are the Chow Mein (best!), Orange Chicken, and Thai Spaghetti (so good, so spicy). For appetizers, the portobello are delicious and pair so well with the ranch. They're seriously addicting. But I highly recommend the Crab Won Tons, especially if it's your first-time. They have some parking available in the back (accessible via the alley), but if there aren't spots available, I recommend street parking on Bennett Drive (nice neighborhood) and either walking down the alley for the back entrance or walking along Cahuenga to go through the front. The restaurant overlooks Cahuenga, the 101, and the backside of the Universal Studios mountains - just ideal for a quick stop and casual bite. With its proximity to Universal, we opt to eat here and highly recommend that other park-goers eat here instead, as it's on par with the price of amusement park food yet way better quality. We've been going here for almost a decade, and everyone we take here loves it. The dishes are large enough to order as family style or enjoy solo. This is a family-owned staple of the Studio City area and I love seeing regulars here who appreciate it as much as me.

Unfortunately... after 2 years - the flavors had changed The crispy seaweed roll was great but it was cold when we got it which means it was set there before everything else come out. ( I would've pack this last for take away) Everything was really sweet Summer roll - no flavor just blend tofu with salad and the sauces are sweet even the peanut sauce and the green cilantro sauce with sugar erg! Avocado curry also sweet... so sad Why are they obsessed with sugar? Idk but defo a turned off

Got some vegan food in the Hollywood Hills. It really isn't as expensive as it sounds. Veggie House is actually a small place with only a few tables. Food is better than the place looks. The cuisine is Thai with Chinese and Japanese as well. Cozy is a way to describe it, kind of like eating in someone's kitchen to be honest. It's actually a pretty small place, located on Cahuenga Boulevard at Barham, a busy intersection. This is also located just off the Hollywood Freeway, so there's always lots of traffic. Anyway it manages to have a pretty laid back atmosphere. The meals are pretty affordable for around here. It's about $12 for an entree. These are all pretty authentic Thai. Of course get the Thai iced tea, refreshing stuff. We got some things with tofu. As expected, it's a pretty common ingredient. I got the Thai Spicy Mixed Vegetables With Tofu. This was made hotter by the sauce added to it. She got another type of stir fry. This one also had tofu. Has the best Thai food around here. It's also affordable for the area and makes for a great stop after walking around Griffith Park. The whole menu is okay for vegans and vegetarians.

This place has great food. Everything I've had here so far has been really exceptional. Pad Thai is perfectly saucy with crispy tofu Portobellos with homemade vegan ranch are great - just make sure they're hot Orange faux chicken is the best I've had Broccoli is always seasoned and cooked perfectly I've done take out for a work lunch several times recently and have always been very happy. Large portions for a good price!

Veggie House is by far my favorite vegetarian spot in the valley area of Universal City! I used to live close to the restaurant and I still will come by if I'm in the area. Parking available in the back! The pad thai is my favorite I always try to get a side or appetizer to go along with it. The drumsticks are a favorite as well and shareable with a date. I tried the crispy portobello" fries " it was a very large portion and extremely crispy. These are all good things! we had her bring us an extra side of dipping sauce because we were really enjoying it and soaking them up! They have a small amount of tables for dine in guests, but I have done takeout plenty of times with great experiences.
